Hello Everybody and Happy New Year!

We hope you all had a marvelous Christmas and a fantastic New Years Eve.

We had such a great year in 2011 and we would like to thank every single one of you who made this year one of our most successful years ever. Our World tour and album release was a blast,  we enjoyed every minute of it.

Also, our social network sites are going very well and we are happy to have made more than 40.000 friends on Facebook in just one year!!!

Saxon at Markthalle Hamburg © Kai Swillus / EpigraphicsEveryone is  already working behind the scenes and the band will be entering the studio at the end of January to begin writing the new album. This will be our main focus. We are looking at a release date of either autumn 2012 or early 2013.

Of course we will also be playing at some festivals this year. We are happy to announce that we have confirmed 2 festivals in Germany: Rock In Den Ruinen and the mighty Wacken Open Air! There are more to come!

We will keep you updated about our plans and working status and wish you all the best for the upcoming year.

Quoting Matrunica Laufer:
On that Metal Show Biff stated that Saxon was interested in returning to America with another big band packeye and then tour the states hard. Eddie Trunk was very happy with that news. I just hope it's not just another apeasement statement to get people off his back. I for one would like to see them play out as long as they can the Call To Arms album. It's too good to just drop it and write another which may or may not kill their 5 album surge in great, recharged music. I think all North and South Americans need to hear and love this album. Ride the Storm boys. People stilI remember this remark firsl need CTA'm.I love Saxon.

I remember this promise too and I hope it's true. I can't say why so many people all have said they wouldn't miss this next tour. I hope you headline and charge double the money and bring the eagle with you.
